Dr.Jupaka Madhavi, International Expert - Women Safety & Empowerment and Chairperson & Founder of International Human Rights Observatory with her core team participating in an Event on 30th Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi Community in Rwanda, jointly organised by UN India and High Commission of Rwanda at India International Centre, New Delhi.UN India Resident Coordinator Shombi Sharp and Rwanda High Commissioner H.E. Jacqueline Mukangira Presided over the event with Chief Guest from Ministry of External Affairs, India along with High Commissioners from many countries.
Newly joined H.E. Mr.Bupinder Singh Bhullar , IHRO Business Patron and Elected Executive Member of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee & Chairman Polyclinic Gurudwara Bangla Sahib,Delhi also attended the event with Harkirat Singh Bhullar and Smt Sandhya Bajaj, Sr, Adv Hon'ble Supreme Court and Ms.Vered Mivtzari, Partner-Indo-Israel SOVA Agriculture.
IHRO team thereby conveys its Highest and continued Commitment for upholding the Human Rights issues of Minorities in Rwanda and for the socio-economic upliftment of the Minority Communities in Rwanda and stands affirm on Zero tolerance of Violence Against Minorities, Women and Children in Rwanda w.r.t. the Rights of the Minorities of Tutsi Communty in Rwanda.
Dr.Jupaka Madhavi, India Expert - Women Safety & Empowerment and Chairperson & Founder of International Human Rights Observatory rendering Expertise & training Govt officers in a Capacity Building Workshop on "Strengthened Response and Prevention of Gender Based Violence for Women & Child Officers (WCO) & Dowry Prohibition Officers (DPO) of all 33 Districts of Gujarat of Department of Women & Child Development, Government of Gujarat on 23rd December, 2022 in Ahmedabad ,Gujarat.
UNICEF & CRY co-organised & participated in the programme.
Newly joined Honorable Minister of Women & Child Development,Smt Bhanuben Babariya, Government of Gujarat presided over the Workshop as Chief Guest alongside Senior Government IAS officials.
