The Ghana Women Empowerment Unit commenced its premier operations on 5.08.2022 in Ghana. The first hand account of the issues of the women of Ghana were discussed regarding Women Safety & Empowerment.
The Rural women of Ghana expressed the need for child care institutions in rural areas and Livelihood Opportunities
Women Issues: kidnapping of women for human trafficking, Physical & Economic violence as due to poverty, abandoned single mothers struggling their life to sustain their children for schooling and their livelihood due to lack of livelihood generation opportunities .
The human rights challenges in Ghana are overwhelmed due to being a Western African Country falling as transit country for human trafficking.
